Design Brief
The project aimed to design a compact, futuristic Makita-branded leaf blower that balances performance, usability, and brand identity while reducing wrist strain for improved user comfort. Tools such as Procreate, Vizcom AI, SolidWorks, and KeyShot were used to develop and visualize the final product. Special attention was given to both form and internal engineering, including component layout and structural ribbing to ensure durability and manufacturability.
Project Goals
1) Pick a brand and redesign the leaf blower
2) Learn SolidWorks to create a CAD model
3) Learn how to create interior ribbing
4) Learn KeyShot rendering software
Duration: 5 Weeks
